Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had their daughter North baptised during a very traditional ceremony in Jerusalem.
New pictures show proud mum Kim dressed in a white lace headscarf and a conservative floor-length skirt as she cradles a snoozing Nori.
Kanye kept his head slightly bowed as he stood alongside the pair dressed in white jeans and a white long-sleeved top.
The reality star opened up about the ceremony which happened at a 12th-century Amernian Apostolic Church during a recent trip to Jerusalem.
Kim told People magazine: “It was such a beautiful experience for my family to have North baptized in Jerusalem.”
She added: “Kanye and I are so thankful.”
It looks like all the excitement got a little too much for North, who fell asleep in her mother’s arms during the service.
The adorable little tot is seen resting her head on Kimmie’s shoulder dressed in a white gown and barefoot.
Crowds of fans gathered outside but the famous family remained quiet during the peaceful ceremony.
During the hour-long service, which was performed in both Armenian and English, holy water was poured over North’s head and she was given a cross by the church.
Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kim revealed she planned to combine her family’s recent trip to Armenia with having North, 22 months, baptised.
Her sister Khloe joined in the ceremony and was named as North’s godmother, and can be seen looking on.
A close family source said Khloe was chosen because of the “very close bond” they share.
The source added how “having their daughter baptized there was such an incredible energy.”
They continued: “They were so happy and at peace in Jerusalem.”
